Every human being is born with a natural right to be free. Most of us are born in a hospital, which is a place that helps life begin safely. However, as soon as a baby is born, the government treats them like they already owe money. This is wrong. Because birth is a natural event and not a gift from the government, we should not have to pay taxes on the money we earn later in life.
The most important rule for a free person is called “self-ownership.” This means you own your body, your brain, and your time. When you work a job, you are using your time to earn money. If the government takes 20% or 30% of your paycheck, they are taking away a part of your life. It is like being forced to work for the government for free for several months every year.
Some people say we have to pay taxes because of a “social contract.” They say that because we live in a country, we agree to follow its rules. But a real contract is a paper you read and sign when you are an adult. A baby cannot sign a contract. You did not choose where you were born, so you should not be forced to pay a debt you never agreed to.
A big problem with taxes is that they are not a choice. In a normal store, if you do not like the food, you do not buy it. But with taxes, if you do not pay, the government can take your house or put you in jail. This is not a fair deal between friends. It is a system where one side uses force to get what they want. True freedom means you only pay for things when you say “yes” first.
Many people disagree with this idea. They say we need taxes to pay for important things like roads, schools, and police. They believe that without taxes, the world would be a mess and there would be no help for poor people. They think taxes are just a small price we pay so everyone can have a good life. They believe the government is the only way to build these things.
While roads and schools are important, we do not need to use force to pay for them. We could pay for them only when we use them. For example, we could pay a small fee to drive on a road or a fee to go to a school. This is called “voluntary payment.” It is fairer because you only pay for what you actually use. This also makes the services better because they have to work hard to keep you happy.
We must remember that being born in a hospital is a part of nature. It is not a reason for the government to own a piece of your future. If we say the government can take our money because we were born here, we are saying we are not truly free. We are saying we belong to the state. But humans should belong to themselves, not to a government.
In the end, every person is born as a free individual. We should have the right to keep all the money we earn through our hard work. Being born is a beautiful start to life, not the start of a bill that never ends. By stopping forced taxes, we can finally respect the freedom that every human should have from their very first day of life.
