Around 36% of Americans choose to eat out for date night as of 2024 and some are not fully prepared for a valentines day dinner. 

Sachse students were asked around A4 January 16th and January 21st about their desired places to go on a date during valentines day. They were asked about what they would like to do with their significant other, some said places that were out of state or have a huge budget. While those are good ideas, places around Sachse and surrounding cities are way more in budget and can be more interesting and romantic. 

One of the most said restaurants from our students was the reunion tower although the restaurant itself is called Crown Block. Crown block is a 2024 and 2025 Michelin star restaurant. The restaurant itself is a seafood and steakhouse. The menu itself is a bit pricey, The total estimate of two people would be $136.80 Dollars including gratitude and not including tax.

“The view is beautiful, but I wouldn’t go if you get nauseous easily. . . the ball moves slowly in a circle.”  Said one of the teachers we interviewed. 

The menu consists of seafood and steakhouse items, such as seafood towers to sushi, grill items to wine and cocktails. 

The reservation system allows you to select what type of service you’ll need, anniversary to a business event. The reservation system is partnered with OpenTable to secure confirmed dates for tables. They have a 15 minute grace period and ask to contact them if you are running late.the restaurant has a dress code and asks guests to dress formally to their restaurant. For valentines day, The restaurant  allows you to pay a 50 dollar up charge for a better experience.
