Not sure what’s coming out in the summer for July, well here’s some movies that are coming out!

Minions and monsters is coming out in theaters July 1st, 2026. The setting of the movie is based in 1920s Hollywood, the minions become famous movie stars while they’re trying to make their own monster movie. They accidentally unleash real monsters with a powerful monster called Irene, Because of this they’re forced to save the world. The movie is an animated comedy and the director is Pierre Coffin who as well directed the other minion movies. 

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is coming out in theaters July 1st, 2026. The film is a prequel to the film The Devil Wears Prada made in 2006. In the film Andy Sachs who is played by Anne Hathaway returns to help struggling Miranda Priestly who is played by Meryl Streep to navigate the decline in physical media. The film does a 2 decade jump and it shows them battling corporate threats and Miranda facing off her former assistant who works for a luxury group. The genre for this movie is a comedy-drama and is directed by David Frankel who also directed the first The Devil Wears Prada.

Moana, live action, is coming out in theaters July 10th, 2026. The movie is gonna be the same as the animated version of Moana. It’s about a teenager who sails out on a mission to save her people. She leaves her home to restore the heart of Te Fiti with Maui. featuring Dwane Johnson who was also in the animated version of moana voicing the character Maui. Dwane Johnson will be playing the same character and the person casted for moana is Catherine Laga’aia.
