Toy Story 5 is coming out in theaters June 19th, 2026 and it’s a Pixar animated sequel. It’s about Woody, Buzz, and the gang facing an existential threat, which is children abandoning traditional toys for their tablets or electronics. It features the toys trying to stay relevant in modern day society where everyone focuses on technology. Toy story 5 was directed by Andrew Stanton who also directed the movies Wall-e, Finding Dory and Finding Nemo.
Supergirl: Women Of Tomorrow is coming out in theaters June 26th, 2026 and it’s a DC universe superhero film. It’s about Kara Zor-el, who is Supergirl, is on an intergalactic journey of vengeance and justice. Kara who has been shaped by the trauma of her home’s planet destruction will team up with an unlikely companion moving beyond the shadow of her cousin who is superman so she can find her own path. The movie is inspired from the limited comic book series Supergirl: women of tomorrow written by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. The movie is directed by Craig Gillespie who directed the movies Cruella, Cruella 2, and Fright Night.
Disclosure Day is coming out in theaters June 12th, 2026 and it’s a sci-fi thriller. It’s about a global alien encounter that causes worldwide panic and a desperate push to reveal the truth. It follows a Kansas weatherwomen who is possessed during a live broadcast, and a protagonist fighting to expose the existence of aliens against a shady organization trying to keep it hidden. The film focuses on humanity and how it handles the chaotic moment of confirmed alien contact rather than a traditional, straightforward invasion battle. The movie is directed by Steven Spielberg who directed the movies Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Jaws which is a classic.
The Invite is coming out in theaters June 26th, 2026 and it’s a dramedy/thriller. It’s about a married couple in a crisis who invite their mysterious neighbors over for dinner. The evening spirals into uncomfortable confrontations and psychological tension, exposing deep seated marital issues and anxieties. The movie is directed by Olivia Wilde who directed the movies Wake Up, Booksmart, and Don’t Worry Darling.
Masters of the universe is coming to theaters June 5th, 2026 and is a live action adventure film. It’s about Prince Adam who was spirited away to Earth as a child to escape a civil war on Eternia. Twenty years later Adam returns to his ruined home planet to battle Skeletor who is evil. Embracing his destiny as He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. The movie is directed by Travis Knight who also directed the movies Bumblebee, Missing Link, and The Boxtrolls.
