Over the past few months, a TikTok account has shocked students due to the content posted. This account with the username Sachsehs_ai, has posted AI videos of faculty members with captions insulting and making fun of them. The school hasn’t been able to find the owner of the account.
“…there’s not much we can do, that’s the thing, right?” Assistant principal Mr. Varrassi said.
The creator of the account, which has about 600 followers and 9000 likes, responded to some comments on their videos, which gives more information about who the owner could be. The user could be a male sophomore; has been caught without an ID by Mr. Varrassi three times; and could have Mr. Carothers as his English teacher for fourth period.
“Like, we don’t know who’s posted it, who’s making the videos.” Assistant principal Mr. Varrassi said.
Many staff have been targeted in the videos, the staff include: Mr. Murray, Ms. Sawasaki, Mr. Varrassi, Mr. Carothers, Ms. Nowlin, Ms. Pearce, Mrs. Haga, and Coach Bumpus.
“It doesn’t bother me. I don’t feel.” Mr. Murray said.
Despite the offensive content, the teachers either don’t mind, or don’t care about what the person is doing.
“We don’t really give much thought to it at this point.” Mr. Varrassi said.
