Physical traits are observable, measurable and often inheritable characteristics of an organism, defining a person’s physical appearance and biological structure. Such traits are stable, visible without other information, and can indicate genetic quality or health. Personality traits are relatively stable patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving (e.g, extra version, openness), representing who we are on a daily basis. Character traits are ethical or moral qualities (e.g, honesty, integrity, courage) that define who we aspire to be and are revealed during difficult situations.
