The first time I watched this movie I was a little kid. I remember it being one of the first times I ever watched a superhero movie. I have already previously watched Spider-man 1 and Spider-man 2, but this one was by far my favorite. The protagonist of this movie is named Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, and he got himself in a big problem. His best friend Harry Osborn, is the son of Norman Osborn also known as Green Goblin. Norman Osborn had just died not too long ago by the hands of “Spider-Man”. But in reality Norman accidentally killed himself and the media blamed it on the web slinging vigilante.
Throughout the movie Harry figures out that Spider-Man is his best friend Peter Parker and immediately wanted to avenge his father, they end up fighting and Peter ends up knocking him out leaving him in a coma. Peter rushed him to the hospital and they told him that it was bad. Eventually, Norman woke up with Peter by his side.Peter noticed this and was still on edge because he didn’t know if Norman still wanted to fight. But surprisingly, Norman had forgotten everything and continued to act like nothing happened. The next couple of days everything seemed fine until Norman got flashbacks of his father, telling him to kill Spiderman. Soon after he remembered that Spider-Man was Peter, they end up fighting a second time with the same result of Peter winning.
The only difference is during this fight Peter had the symbiote suit. The symbiote is an alien-like creature that needs to survive off a host, which made him even stronger than he was before, but it also makes him a little more villain-like by controlling his thoughts. After the fight Peter figures out that his uncle’s murderer was still on the loose. This made him extremely angry because he thought he had already killed the murderer. The police show him the picture of the killer, and he wastes no time on finding him. He puts on the symbiote suit and rushes to the train station where the killer was lurking. His name is Flint Marko, but he isn’t an ordinary person. He was caught in an experiment while running away from the police, causing him to fuse with sand.
Peter meets Flint and absolutely destroys him in the fight. He rams his face against a moving train, and then takes his body and throws it in the sewers, where he would dissolve since he was made up of sand. Thinking he killed him, Peter realizes what he has done and notices that the symbiote is affecting who he is as a person. He gets a flashback of his uncle telling him that “with power comes great responsibility”. He swings his way to a church and goes to the very top of it were lays a giant bell, he hits the bell multiple times because the symbiote is sensitive to sound, it tries to stay on him but he rips out all of the remains of the symbiote and it ends up falling all the way down from the top of the church to the bottom.
Peter leaves the church and tries to live his life normally again, but what he didn’t know is that when the symbiote fell, it was attached to somebody he knew: A former colleague of his, Eddie Brock. Eddie has always disliked Peter, and the only reason he went to church was to pray on Peter’s downfall. While doing so, he notices this alien-like thing on his back and tries to swipe it off of him, but he wasn’t strong enough, and the symbiote ends up attaching itself to Eddie making him a new host.
Eddie finds Peter and they fight for a long time. Little did Peter know, he actually did not kill Sandman, and he reappears while he is fighting Eddie.hey double team Peter, and he falls to the ground, thinking he is about to die. In what he thought were his final moments, he could see someone else ready to help him. was Harry, who had learned to forgive Peter, and realized that his father was evil. Together, they team up and defeat Eddie and Flint. Unfortunately, Harry was wounded really badly during the fight, and passed away after. Peter was thankful for Harry, and the movie ended with Peter visiting Harry’s grave telling himself he has to keep pushing forward for the people of New York.
