BETA Club’s annual toy collection for the Sachse Police Department toy drive ended Friday, Dec. 10 with 114 toys and a little more than $500 in cash to purchase “big ticket” items. 

BETA Club sponsor Tammy Leihr said the donations were down from last year, but she was pleased with the total considering so many students who are online. 

“The toy drive gives students an opportunity to help their community, especially during Holiday season,” BETA Club president Linh Do said. “The toys will help a lot because it will provide a source of happiness for children.”
