Lady Mustangs end season 22-3

The Lady Mustang volleyball team finished the season with an impressive record of 22-3 lasting into the 4th round of playoffs.  Only once before have the Lady Mustangs made it this far into the playoffs.

In the end the Lady Mustangs were outmatched against Klein, the number one ranked team in the state.  Sachse narrowly took the first set 27-25, but lost the final three sets 17-26, 16-25, 18-25 to end the season.

Going into the Regional Semifinals, Klein had only lost one set all year, and the Lady Mustangs fought hard to hand the Bearkats another loss.

“It was a great year,” junior Macy Puckett said. “It was a really weird year with all the masks and all of that. We fought really hard to get where we were. I’m proud of our team and can’t wait for next season.”
