"I am thankful for my best friends. Don’t get me wrong--I love my family and other items I am fortunate to have--though nothing could compare to the bond I share with my closest friends," freshman Emma Amaya said. "They’ve been there to call and listen to me when I had nothing and no one to turn to, actually sympathizing with me and giving me reasons to stay with them. We’ve laughed and cried, though it’s only made our bond tighter than ever, I’m glad I talked to them in sixth grade when we were all conveniently placed in an art class."
