A new Sachse Spring program is ready to launch, designed to boost local businesses and unite the Sachse community. The Taste of Sachse, a month-long event, will start from May 5th and end on June 1st of this year – promoting small Sachse businesses.
Created in celebration of National Small Business Week, the event encourages residents of Sachse to experience and support Sachse businesses by dining and local shopping. Organizers aim to increase visibility for small businesses and strengthen local entrepreneurs and their community.
To participate in the Taste of Sachse, residents must pick up an official activity card, which can be found in Sachse’s city hall and in any participating business building. Patrons can win one sticker per business by spending a minimum of $10 or more. Once a holder of an official activity card finishes the card with 6 stickers, they can either drop the card off at City Hall or take a photo of the completed card and send it to the email address which can be found at the back of the card.
Participants of this event can only have one activity card per household, and only one sticker per business will be allowed. However, many businesses across Sachse are participating, giving residents many opportunities to finish their card.
Local eatery businesses such as Cane Rosso, I Heart Donuts, Yoko Sushi-Thai-Sake, Haus of Boba, Bop Joa, The Brass Tap, Palatables Shawarma & Grill, Jakes Burgers, Dough Gourmet Pizza, Pho Station, Sachse Nutrition, Tropical Smoothie Café, Donuts Palace, Woodbridge Cafe and Manny’s Tex-Mex are joining the effort.
The first 50 participants to submit a completed card will automatically receive a small prize. Additionally, all valid entries will be included in a drawing for a larger prize at the end of the promotion. The prize drawing is intended to add fun and reward for those who take their time to support local businesses during the event.
