background:The visitors is an album made by one of the greatest bands ever abba.the visitors was released on november 30 1981, it’s  pop/pop rock music , its length is 37:39 minutes.the album is about reflecting the bands personal struggles and the end of their initial run with darker, more mature songs exploring themes of relationships,loss and the civil war. 

The songs:

The first song on the album is called the visitors, the song is about a protest against the persecution of political dissidents in the soviet union it also reflects abbas tendency to incorporate political themes during their final years.I really like this song i think its message is really deep and i love the vocals of this song, it’s one of my top 5  favorites from the album.  

The second song on the album is head over heels,the song is about a person who is completely infatuated with someone they love, the lyrics describe the feeling of being helplessly in love, with the speaker acknowledging that they are acting irrationally and can’t think straight because of their emotion. I really like this song the instrumental,the lyrics,the vocals everything about this song is amazing head over heels has been one of my favorite songs ever for the last 2 years and also since its from my favorite band it just makes the song so much more better, head over heels is my favorite song from this album by a long shot.

The third song on the album is when all is said and done, the song is about the emotional aftermath of a relationship’s end, particularly the sadness and lingering bitterness despite the inevitability of the separation. I also really like this song i think it has a very good meaning, the lyrics are also very good, i really do like this song from this album 

The fourth song on the album is soldiers, the song is about a critique of militarism, emphasizing that although there seems to be so little one can do to prevent the machinations of soldiers and those who control them. I like this song. It has some memorable things but it’s so simple but it’s still very good. I really like how the drumming holds dark, somber verses and the sing-song  quality of the chorus together. It also has a lot of metaphors which i really like, even though this song is very simple it’s very good which is why i like it. 

The fifth song on the album is i let the Music speak, the song is about a song about the power and transcendence of music, suggesting that music will always be there for you, regardless of life’s ups and downs. I really like this song, I think it’s very relatable, I really like the vocals and the instrumental of this song which is why I really like it.

The sixth song on the album is one of us, The song is about a woman trying to revive a relationship she ended. I really like this song, it’s one of Abbas’s most popular songs, and it deserves it because it truly is a great song. The lyrics, vocals, and instrumental are so amazing which is why I really like this song.

The seventh song on the album is two for the price of one, the song is about a pathetic love stared hero answering an ad for the girl of his dreams, i really like this song it is very good it’s one of the two songs from this album that gave abba interest after this song more people started listening to abba which is why i like this song because it brought people to listen to abba.the lyrics and vocals are also really good as well.

The eighth song on the album is slipping through my fingers,the song is about a mothers bittersweet realization of her daughters rapid growth and the fleeting nature of childhood, as she watches her daughter head off to school,symbolizing a step toward independence.i really like this song even though it’s one of abbas most popular songs but it deserves all the love, it’s such a good song the vocals,lyrics,instrumentals and the meaning behind this song is what makes this song so great.

The ninth and last song on the album is like an angel passing through my room,the song is about comparing a feeling of peace, tranquility, or a gentle presence to the fleeting, ethereal nature of an angel’s visit. I like this song a lot because of the very good vocals,lyrics and the figurative language throughout the song.

The Visitors is my favorite album and one of Abbas’s most popular albums but even though it’s really popular it is still very good, this song has no skips, no bad moments, there is nothing bad at all with this album this is one of the most perfect albums in my opinion.
