What is going to happen to Tik Tok

Tik tok is supposed to get banned this week and people are worried again that tik tok is gonna get banned forever. TikTok is a social media app, one of or the most popular apps in the world. Tik Tok was already banned once everybody was freaking out. People didn’t know what they would watch so many people switched to Instagram reals and some switched to youtube shorts and rednote. Rednote is a chinese app that has videos kinda similar not too similar but an app where you can scroll and watch videos. But it came back in like 10 hours so people got back on it but if you deleted the app you couldn’t have it anymore cause it was banned on the app store. But eventually it came back to the app store.

Now it might change, they might ban tik tok again. Tik tok is based in China, the chinese government could potentially access american data so that would be pretty bad for the United States. It would be banned due to national security concerns. Another reason that tik tok can get banned is that the government and people think that tik tok spreads misinformation and that can affect a lot of people. And yes some of the information on tik tok is not true but a lot of it helps people and it can help a lot of people. 

There have been talks of people also buying tiktok. There have been multiple millionaires and billionaires that have tried to work together or just by themselves to buy tik tok. The owner of tik tok has been fighting the court and government not to ban it but they won’t listen to him. He hasn’t let anybody buy tik tok yet even a youtuber Mr.Beast has tried to work with people to try to buy tik tok.

There are 2 opinions on this tik tok ban. Not two opinions, 2 thoughts of people. Should we ban tik tok or should we not. Think about it like this if you’re the person who wants to ban tiktok you probably don’t like the idea of china spying on our security and don’t like to miss spread information. But if you do have the opinion to not ban tik tok you probably like or love watching tik toks laughing everyday at videos and enjoying the app making videos as well. If you are on that side you don’t want it to get banned for that reason. Nobody wants to switch to a different app.
