The end of the school year is among us Seniors! Make sure to get all your work done and be on time for your classes. If you’re stressed out, it’s okay. Take a deep breath, you’ll be alright. You still have a lot to learn, even if you’re graduating. This may be the end of high school, but this isn’t the end. Your story is just beginning. Go out there and achieve great things! We all know that you are capable of it.
The world can be a scary place, I know. Parents and teachers keep trying to tell us how bad the world can be, but it can also be beautiful. A dandelion may be a weed, but it’s a very pretty one. A rose may have thorns, but it sure is gorgeous. Our world has just as many bad things as it does good things. That’s okay, it’s life and if we don’t like it, let’s change it. This world needs people like you. Turn that rose into a true piece of beauty. Make that little weed turn into something else, something free and pure.
You all have so much passion, even if it isn’t for school. The teachers know that you are all passionate about something, everyone is. That is what keeps us going. You may be passionate about a religion, a certain career, or a community. This world needs more people who can use their passion for the greater good. Be that person, be that change. You have probably heard this many times before, but only you can change what happens in our state, in our country. Vote, protest, use your passion to make the world a better place. We complain about how bad our world is, well, let’s change that. Be open-minded young adults and do what’s right.
All of your teachers are proud of you and know that you will accomplish great things. Let them know that you can. Prove it to them by doing so. We are all proud of you for coming this far.
Now go out there and do great things. Run young mustang, run.
