Spring break is coming up soon! Two weeks to be precise, but some of you might already have plans for the break or you might not have anything planned and that’s ok! Because I’m here to help by giving you a top 3 list of my favorite places to go during the break.
- The Beach
The beach is one of my favorite places to go because of the scenery, food places, amazing gift shops, and of course the ocean. Me and my family went to SurfSide Beach which was about 4 hours away from where I lived, but I do enjoy long car rides. When we got to our beach house that my parents rented it was such a nice view, From where the beach house was it was right on the boardwalk so we could just go straight to the beach the nice warm sand felt amazing the sounds of the waves crashing, seagulls squawking, people chattering was just so calming to me for some reason. The ocean water is such an amazing feeling, it’s nice to feel the waves moving you around, the wet sand at the bottom of your feet, don’t forget to wear sunscreen!… I didn’t wear enough, it wasn’t fun….
- Red River NM
In my number 2 spot, I have Red River, New Mexico, especially during the winter! Which is actually where I’ll be going for spring break. Red River New Mexico is such a beautiful small town up in the mountains with great activities like Tubing, Skiing, snowmobiling, fun gift shops, and much more! Not to mention the AMAZING food places there, for example, Shotgun Willie’s is a nice classic American food place with so much to choose from, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches they have wraps and briskets! (my personal favorite). Not to mention the scenery too, because no matter what season you go in it has such great views and you’ll feel part of like a movie. It’s very calm and relaxing during the winter with all the snow and when you’re inside your cabin it’s very cozy, but during the summer you get a nice kind of camping feeling because you see all of the ground, and it’s so bright with the colorful green grass and trees. Overall This would be a great spring break vacation!, also watch out for bears…..
- Walt Disney World
Finally, for my number one spot, we have Walt Disney World in Florida. Disney World is truly one of the most magical places on earth! Yes, it may be a little pricey, but once you get there you feel like a little kid again and I will never forget my first steps when I walked in. There’s so much to do because there are 4 parks!!! My personal favorite is Magic Kingdom because of the rides it has to offer. You have the tea cup ride, Astro orbiter, the people mover, and the 7 dwarfs mine train. Disney World is just filled to the brim with magic everywhere you go, and you won’t be able to stop smiling. Tell me something, how many times can you say “I’ve met Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Minnie, and Mickey on the same day?”… I didn’t think so, and the cast members/ people who work there can tell they truly love their job because they are so filled with joy and will always try to make sure everyone is smiling and happy. It’s Disney World, no one should be sad at Disney World.
This has been my top three list for spring break trip ideas, but remember I have only RECOMMENDED these so don’t be upset that your parents said not and be like “But this guy said” NOPE!
